The commencement of this wild journey!

Hi media friends! My name is Coral Chico and this is the very first one of my many posts to come! Me and my partner chose to compose a film opening instead of the magazine layout because being the new media kids we were, we figured "Oh we'll know more about film than magazine by the end of this!"; we were very wrong. Now we are really regretting this impulsive decision but hopefully everything falls into place by the end of this! Right now we are mainly focusing on figuring out exactly what genre we'd like to center around, specifically one that fits with our personalities since we chose to be our own actors. We both seemed to be flowing with plot ideas for mysterious and horror based film. According to CMF Trends, the target audience audience for horror films is 15-24 year olds, which matches perfect with our age range, as well as our friends'.  We want to target an audience that we know well, since we know what kids our age are intrigued by so we figured this was a genre we could work well with. Variety also states that horror fans' average movie-going frequency is 4% greater than that of an average movie audience which will give us big bucks in the long run! Therefore, so far so good, I think we are on a good track. Hopefully things stay this way. Now you guys can sit back & enjoy this bumpy ride with me as I figure out the process and tricks of the world of film!

Sincerely,

Coral
